The highlight of our trip was definitely the time we spent at the beach. We came home with so many shells and had a lot of fun finding the best ones there. The kids loved the sea gulls and we saw the shrimp boats. Ryan got caught in a wave and was pulled just enough to scare him. We were excited that one of the days we were there it was warm enough even in November to wear swimming suits and t-shirts. There is nothing like sand between your bare toes. Zachary didn't really warm up quickly to the beach although by the time we left he enjoyed sitting in one place letting the sand run between his fingers.
