This isn't your typical vacation picture, but it is stuck in our pictures from our Thanksgiving trip to Myrtle Beach in November. We were looking forward to a great get away and the kids were so excited to see the beach! The last two hours of the trip for Ryan was miserable as he got nauseous and threw up three times. He ran a fever for one day and then Dawn woke up with a fever too on the second day we were there. Ryan was better on the third day and that was the day that Stacey started running her fever. So, the sickness ran two days and started a day apart. The Wednesday before Thanksgiving the "sick" part of our trip ended with a trip to the immediate care clinic and antibiotics for both of the girls, Stacey with an ear infection and Dawn with a double. Not our idea of a great time, but we did get to rest and lay low for a good portion of the vacation. Everyone felt well enough to spend a little time at the beach even with fevers.
